In August 2013, during a free public event which opened a weekend program, Rinpoche gave a clear and inspiring teaching on the topic of the Four Immeasurables—loving kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity— one of the most central of Buddhist tenets. The teaching took place at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church in Cambridge.
