The 3rd day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Wood Dragon (February 12th, 2024) marked the 16th anniversary of the parinirvana of Kyabje Minling Trichen. The Parinirvana day this year was an especially auspicious one because it marked the installation of the Draku of Kyabje Minling Trichen in the main shrine room. The sangha joyfully engaged in the sadhana practice in the presence of this inspiring and sacred representation of the Guru and everyone present felt that the draku invoked a deep sense of “liberation upon seeing.” The day was further enriched by the presence of Minling Dungse Rinpoche and Minling Jetsün Rinpoche who joined the gathered sangha of tulkus, khenpos, monks, nuns and Western students for the entire practice of the profound Rigzin Thugthig Sadhana. With the presence of the sacred image of the glorious Guru, the two young Rinpoches and the precious gathered assembly, the entire shrine room resonated with sublime blessings and joy. With heartfelt devotion, the sangha made extensive prayers and supplications for the increase of Dharma, the flourishing of the Mindrolling lineage, and the perfection of the two accumulations of merit and wisdom for all beings.
