Donation web site for the Garden of the Four Immeasurables
As the newly planted fledgling trees and plants in Mindrolling Lotus Garden’s new tree nursery begin to bud and spread their first delicate leaves, the website for the Garden of the Four Immeasurables has gone live, and an invitation to Her Eminence Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche’s international sangha has been extended.
Just a few moments after launching the donation website for the Garden of the Four Immeasurables, the first donation arrived. As of April 30, 5:00 p.m. ET, 41 people have donated 94 trees.
This garden will complement and enhance the beauty of what will one day be Mindrolling Lotus Garden’s centerpiece—a traditional shrine room for teaching and practice. Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche and Jetsün Dechen Paldrön specially selected these 142 fruit, flowering, and ornamental trees, which will be transplanted to create the Garden of the Four Immeasurables. In addition to being symbols of interdependence, these trees are also signs of auspiciousness, richness and abundance in Buddhist scripture and life. They will bring great benefit to many beings.

Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche and Jetsünla decided to start with small trees and plants in order to make this tree project as cost effective as possible. This approach will also make the project more affordable for people who would like to make donations and sponsor one or more trees.
